ROSSO IGT VERONESE – Il Musato
The Musato was born from the family’s desire to identify, give an identity and finally enhance one of our most precious vineyards: Il Musato. The physical characteristics of this vineyard, with tuffaceous soil, exposed to the west and located on the precious and recognized “Marogne of Valpolicella Classica”, allow us to obtain this delicate but intense wine.
Musato expresses the heat of the sun released by the dry walls, expresses the hills of Valpolicella.
Vineyard located on an altitude of 300 m a.s.l.m on dry stone and tuff terraces. Clay-tuffaceous soils with prolonged sun exposure.
The vines are trained in the espalier system. The density of the vines is between 4,500 and 6,000 plants per hectare with a yields of about 9000 kg/ha.
